Family Support

Northern Nevada Children’s Cancer Foundation (NNCCF) is dedicated to helping families who are caring for children with cancer by providing financial assistance and emotional support as they cope with their child’s illness.

We currently serve families with children who are under the age of 19 years old and are in treatment for or follow-up care for cancer, in northern Nevada and the eastern Sierra, including Lake Taheo, Truckee, Quincy and Susanville, California. Our southern service border is Tonopah, Nevada.  While all applications must be received prior to the child’s 19th birthday, if medical treatment is ongoing, NNCCF will continue to assist families until the child is 21.

NNCCF provides each applicant family with yearly funding based upon the organization’s budget and the specific needs of the family.  We prefer to work directly with vendors, and require receipts for reimbursement.  NNCCF staff will also work with vendors to reduce payment.

NNCCF works cooperatively with other community service providers to assure that families of children with cancer receive as much assistance as possible.

NNCCF requires families to submit a single-page application which is available by clicking the link below.   Complete the application and call Lizzie, Director of Programs and Services, for further assistance.
