Inspire: Adolescent & Young Adult Survivors

Inspire is a program designed for the inspirational adolescents and young adults in the Northern Nevada area who have survived cancer or are currently undergoing cancer treatment. The Inspire Program was created to guide childhood cancer survivors beyond their diagnosis to the world of limitless possibilities that await them. The following are components of the Inspire program.

Courses & Camps:

The Inspire program provides assistance for a survivor and a guardian (if a minor) to attend fun and motivational courses and/or camps where they will learn more about the cancer journey and gain the support they need to move beyond their cancer diagnosis. These camps will include amazing opportunities for snowboarding, kayaking, mountaineering, surfing and much more. As part of the Inspire program, NNCCF will help cover the expenses to travel and attend one of these retreats, which are tailored to meet the unique needs of cancer survivors. Below is a list of organizations that offer some local courses and camps. If you are interested in attending one of these, contact the NNCCF office at (775) 825-0888.
