Bio:
Ashley Lopez began working at NNCCF in 2024 as the Marketing Manager. She grew up in Humboldt County, CA and moved to Reno with her husband and best friend, Anthony. Ashley graduated from Humboldt State University with a degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing, and a minor in Political Science. She has worked in marketing at Cypress Grove Cheese for the last five years. In her previous role, Ashley worked on the marketing team taking on various roles throughout her time there, but moved into a role managing consumer events, tradeshows, and partnerships. She comes to us with a wide understanding of marketing and is excited to apply her knowledge to NNCCF.
She has a passion for customer service and loves being a service to everyone around her whether it’s professionally or personally. She worked as a barista for four years during college where she developed her love for helping people (and a love of coffee!).
In her free time, she loves going on bike rides, walks, watching sports, and hanging out with friends and family. She is excited to join the Northern Nevada community and to be involved as a new resident to the area!
Why I started working at NNCCF:
I’ve had the pleasure of witnessing my aunt and uncle, Shirley Folkins-Roberts and Doug Roberts, co-found this incredible organization. I’m excited for the opportunity to be involved and to work with an amazing team to support our Northern Nevada children.
Ask me about:
Cheese pairings! You would be surprised by some of the crazy combinations.
What I think is amazing:
The beauty of nature! I’m always in awe by the natural features we’re surrounded by. I grew up in the Redwoods which sparked my love and appreciation for the outdoors.
Something quirky about me:
I love cats including my two babies, Kota and Panda. If I could adopt all the cats in the world and give them a happy life, I would!
My role model:
My entire family. They inspire me to work hard, while always put family and loved ones first.
My favorite quote:
