Donations from individuals and community partners account for nearly a third of the income that supports our programs. Community partner support helps our foundation expand services to ensure that families in Northern Nevada facing a childhood cancer diagnosis can focus on their child, and worry less about the rising costs of cancer treatments.

We need support from people like you. Meadow View Farms is an example of a local family who give back to their community by hosting fundraisers such as the Charity Christmas Classic Horse Show and their annual summer show with proceeds benefitting NNCCF.  Their desire to take care of local kids represents the unwavering support from our community partners who dedicate their time, energy, and talent to help our foundation. Each lemonade stand, office swear jar, golf tournament, and toy drive helps relieve the financial and emotional burden a family faces with a childhood cancer diagnosis.

#KnowTheGold this September

This September, NNCCF will recognize Childhood Cancer Awareness Month and kick-off the annual Know the Gold Campaign. It is a five-month-long community-driven effort to raise funds for local kids. On average, NNCCF assists 120 families each year, and the funds raised during the campaign help support our programs and services throughout the year.

The gold ribbon is the national symbol of childhood cancer. Advocates of childhood cancer wear gold ribbon pins to show their support! We encourage to pick up your free awareness pin by making an appointment with our office to grab a pin, or 30 pins, to wear and share with the community.

Help us achieve our goal by participating in one or more of these 5 steps!
