Know the Gold Campaign Launch
The gold ribbon is the national symbol for childhood cancer and September is “Childhood Cancer Awareness Month.” In an effort to spread awareness and ignite advocacy, NNCCF kicks off the Know the Gold campaign every September 1st. Businesses, individuals and schools join together in support of local children with cancer by raising funds and awareness. The campaign wraps up every January with a grand finale radiothon.

More than $200,000 was raised for local families!
A big thank you to the William N. Pennington Foundation for supporting the campaign and awarding NNCCF with a match grant in the amount of $200,000! These funds will provide financial assistance for medical and travel expenses for northern Nevada families facing childhood cancer.
