Join us for our 15th Annual Shave for the Brave!

Part of NNCCF’s mission is to advocate for increased research funds with hope that one day our kids will be cancer-free. Each year around St. Patrick’s Day we ask the community to “Shave for the Brave” and go bald in support of childhood cancer research.

In partnership with the St. Baldrick’s Foundation, NNCCF’s annual Shave for the Brave event has raised more than $2.8 million since 2006. We shaved more than 4,000 local heads! Both foundations are celebrating 20 years of supporting kids with cancer in 2020, and we ask that you join us for this milestone event.

Find out why we shave and more on our blog.

Be a shavee, volunteer, or support a team!

EVENT ENDS *subject to change* around 8:00 pm

  • Your team is encouraged to enter the registration together in order to shave in the same cohort on stage. 16 people sit on a stage at a time, and depending on your team’s size, members of your group may shave during the next round. We strive to keep teams together!
  • We are not reserving registration times for teams, registration is on a first-come-first-served basis. Please keep in mind the event is pretty quick! And we encourage you to enjoy the food truck, face painter, photo booth, and swag station.
  • Reminder to keep your hair as natural as possible, do not use colored gel or spray in your hair for your own safety.

The St. Baldrick’s Foundation is a volunteer-driven charity committed to funding the most promising research to find cures for childhood cancers. NNCCF supports the St. Baldrick’s Foundation because of its commitment to supporting the best research for finding a cure and developing safer treatments. The St. Baldrick’s Foundation funds research that can help prevent life-long damage that results from surgeries, radiation, and chemotherapies to adolescent bodies.
