Hope for the Holidays with NNCCF

Thank you for your interest in our Hope for the Holidays Program. This year, the program will function differently, but still provide local families with a holiday season that they otherwise may not have due to a cancer diagnosis. Your participation gives hope and joy to the child, siblings, and parents.

Follow these 3 Steps to be a Sponsor!

  1. Complete the Hope for the Holidays Sponsor registration form by November 20, 2020.
  2. Complete your sponsorship by providing a donation online or via check to NNCCF by December 4, 2020.

  3. Schedule your check drop off and fun holiday photo op with the NNCCF staff.

A Note from our Staff:

Due to the vulnerable population we serve and the risks of Covid-19, this year’s Hope for the Holidays will run a little different than in years past. The incredible generosity of this program typically culminates with hundreds of gifts that need to be handled by numerous donors, volunteers and staff. We are providing contactless services to families and the safest way to proceed with the program is to offer families gift cards to purchase gifts from stores or online to reduce our handling of gifts for children who may have compromised immune systems.

We are asking sponsors to rally their friends and families as you do every year. But instead of purchasing gifts, make a financial contribution to the program so our staff can purchase gift cards for the family. Just like years past, you will be matched with a family and given a family story to learn more about those you are supporting. We will even celebrate your contribution with a giant check presentation and festive pictures with the NNCCF staff.

And great news! Thanks to the William N. Pennington Foundation, all of your financial contributions to the Hope for the Holidays program will be included in the Know the Gold Campaign matching grant.*

Your time and efforts with this program make this season incredibly special for the families we serve. We are grateful for your generosity!

*The William N. Pennington Foundation is matching donations dollar-for-dollar up to $500,000 now through February 19, 2021. Contributions to NNCCF from September 1, 2020, through February 19, 2021, will be included in the Know the Gold Campaign – The matching grant from Pennington helps NNCCF serve approximately 120 families each year.

How much does it cost to adopt a family?

The average amount spent on gifts per family depends on the number of family members. In past years, the average amount spent for a family starts at approximately $400. We will match you with a family size that will fit your budget.

When do I need to have the financial contribution delivered?

We would love to have all donations delivered or gifted online by Friday, December 4, 2020, so that our families have plenty of time to shop and wrap their gifts. Use the links above to donate online or schedule schedule a check drop off, and schedule a photo op with our team.

Where can I deliver my financial donation?

Please deliver to the NNCCF office, located at 3550 Barron Way #9A, Reno, NV 89511, after scheduling with our team.
