Join “AboutTownDeb,” Wild River Grille, Frey Ranch, and Tahoe Blue as we honor a very special angel and childhood cancer warrior, Madeleine Grace Watkins, also known as “Bean.”  Maddie lived her life through joy, kindness, and warmth.  She was diagnosed with an aggressive ependymoma at 7 years young and fought bravely until her last breath.

Maddie’s Dad, Tim shared, “Northern Nevada Children’s Cancer Foundation was instrumental in supporting us during her cancer journey. They allowed us to concentrate on Maddie and her care. She never left a visit to their offices without something special in her arms. Everyone there was so good to her.”
