In 2013, Natalia was diagnosed with cancer, and within a few short months, she lost her battle at the age of 11. That year her parents, Raul and Monica, the owners of El Adobe Cafe, hosted the first ever “Natalia’s Night” to honor Natalia while helping raise funds and awareness for childhood cancer warriors in northern Nevada. For the past 13 years, restaurant owners across northern Nevada have joined in support of Natalia’s parents by donating back to NNCCF on the last Wednesday of Childhood Cancer Awareness Month.
