Want to Host your Own Event?
There are many ways you can help local children diagnosed with cancer. We appreciate people of all ages and walks of life who want to get involved. Whether you are a kid hosting a lemonade stand, or a business owner hosting a large event, we would love to talk to you and help set you up for success. We can post your event in the Community Partner events above, and equip you with posters, pins, and other materials to enrich your event.
Here are some ideas on ways to help:
- Run a coin drive or “Penny Wars” at your school
- Host a bake sale or lemonade stand
- Host a 5K fun run
- Host a car wash at your school, business, or church
- Buy-out the dress code at work or school (i.e. hats, jeans etc.)
- Run an office swear jar
- Make a donation in honor of your wedding or special celebration
- Donate new unused birthday gifts, gift cards, toys, or books
Our volunteers are the heart of every fundraising event and we are lucky to have such passionate volunteers helping us make a difference for local children battling cancer. Our volunteer program is growing and actively changing! Even if you applied in the past, we encourage you to fill out our new 2019 application.
