In 2011, a worried father took his little girl to the hospital after she scraped her knees. While at the hospital, he saw a brave young cancer warrior and his parents from across the waiting room. After discussing what he could do to help children like this young boy with his daughter’s nurse, he found NNCCF and the “Heroes and Hooligans” golf tournament was born!
Every summer, these hooligans turned heroes come together for a golf tournament to benefit the Northern Nevada Children’s Cancer Foundation. Thank you to the event organizers, Nikki and Robert, for 13 beautiful years on the green!
