The Know the Gold Radiothon marks the finale of the five-month-long Know the Gold campaign, which kicked off in September 2017, encouraging local businesses, schools, churches, organizations, and individuals to raise funds for local children with cancer. The William N. Pennington Foundation is matching contributions to the Know the Gold campaign up to $250,000. Donations to NNCCF help alleviate the financial and emotional burden childhood cancer places on affected northern Nevada children and their families. Donors are encouraged to use the hashtag #KnowtheGold on social media platforms while talking about the Know the Gold campaign and its events.
The Northern Nevada Children’s Cancer Foundation (NNCCF) is the region’s only nonprofit solely dedicated to serving local children and their families affected by childhood cancer.
