About This Event

The Know the Gold Campaign is a six-month-long community-driven effort to raise funds for local kids. All donations to the Know the Gold Campaign are matched dollar-for-dollar by the William N. Pennington Foundation, up to $600,000, through February 9th, 2024. On average, NNCCF assists 135 families each year, and the funds raised during the campaign help support our programs and services throughout the year. The campaign launched on September 1st, 2023, during Childhood Cancer Awareness Month. The gold ribbon is the national symbol of childhood cancer. Which is why we ask that you #KnowtheGold and help us build awareness.

We invite you to join us for the finale of our Know the Gold Campaign! The finale is a 12-hour radiothon fundraiser live on Cumulus radio stations KBUL 98.1, KOH 780 News Talk, Wild 102.9 and 95.5 The Vibe. The phone bank and fundraiser is hosted at Scheels. You can participate in the radiothon by listening on the radio, listening live on Alexa, joining us on social media, or stopping by Scheels. The direct call line to the phone bank will be announced the morning of the Radiothon – but you can always call to donate today at 775-825-0888.
We aim to reach our six-month-long campaign goal of $600,000 by 6pm on February 9th, 2024.
